Terms of Service
The service
ParkPounce monitors publicly available BC Parks campsite availability and notifies you by email and (optionally) SMS when a site matching your search appears. We do not book sites for you and we cannot guarantee that any site will become available or remain available long enough for you to reserve it. ParkPounce is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by BC Parks or the Province of British Columbia.
Subscription & billing
- The service is offered as a recurring subscription at $20/month, billed through Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support@parkpounce.ca with billing questions.
- If your subscription lapses or payment fails, your searches stop running until you re-subscribe.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, to overload or interfere with BC Parks systems, or to resell or redistribute our alerts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParkPounce is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, missed reservations, or losses arising from use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
